Not on his level, but that has happened to me also. In one instance, I was explaining how something worked on a Zoom call…
“Uh, that sounds good David, but that isn’t how it works.”
“Uh, Allen. That is exactly how it works. I wrote it.”

I believe in a Dale Carnegie maxim of letting people maintain their dignity, but you call me out in a public Zoom forum like that, I’m going to make you look stupid.
