Chop

Been to all 40 Dicks shows so far. Never watched from anywhere but the floor dead center in front of the SBD or the floor next to the stage but off to the side (can’t see shit but great sound and dancing space).

Hanging with Kid Storm (@ry_storm) @vriphish76 @sethadam1 @bizarchive and more tonight for my first seats experience. They tell me it sounds good here. I don’t buy it. But we’ll see. I will say it sure is nice having a place to sit after dancing our asses off last night. #Phish

Quick note on the sound in the seats:

While I’ve never done a show from the seats at Dicks, I’ve been up there a bunch (beer/bathroom/say hi to a friend), and I’ve always found the sound to be terrible—clear and loud but no depth/oomph.

Definitely not the case anymore. Their current PA and however Garry has it dialed in blew me away. I’ve never heard music off a delay stack sound so good.

@chopaganda same goes for Mondegreen. The sound was hands down the best I’ve ever heard it. Loud, clear. Mike sounds incredible and so does Fish. That was my biggest takeaway from the festival.

@chopaganda @ry_storm @vriphish76 @sethadam1 @bizarchive No seat? You must have a great back and strong feet, I can’t stand that long anymore still cool that you get to see Phish so much. Texas used to get them every 5-8 years but that isn’t happening as much anymore. 🤷🏼‍♂️
