ChopSomething hit me thinking about this whole Shakedown/Heads Social experiment and why I’m so happy here despite a fraction of the audience I had on Twitter.
I don’t want to be in the middle of a global townsquare. Sure, there are some great people, but also too many assholes being assholes demanding attention.
I want a bar near the townsquare packed with awesome people where we can talk about what’s happening in the townsquare or completely ignore it.

Bonus #ShowThought - It was great hanging with so many Masto folks last night. I told @chopaganda that he helped bring a lot of people together to create a really nice community and I’ve been lucky enough to meet a lot of folks in person. I got to reconnect with my summer camp counselor from 1993, @unclejuicy . Meet @boelder. And catch up with @justinbruce and @vriphish .Waved at @TheJohnMaher as he raced to get back to his seat too.
