Steve Silberman

When I die, please don't say that I've crossed over into the spirit realm, gone to the Other Side, moved on to a better place, rejoined my ancestors, or any other of those comforting fables. Just...

@dangillmor @stevesilberman Hallelujah. Refreshing insight even on the way out.
@dangillmor @stevesilberman This is so sad. I really loved his insights.

How about "eternal rest"?
Can hardly ask for anything nicer than that;

#RIP

@dangillmor @stevesilberman So sorry that we have lost Steve Silberman. I first became aware of him when I read Neurotribes, trying to support my daughter who had been diagnosed with Asperger's back when that term was still being used and realizing that though I was never officially diagnosed, me too, and reading it helped me understand both of our issues better. And then I was delighted to find that he was active on Mastodon and an even more interesting person than I thought he was. I am the same age he is, or was, and yes, it certainly is a wake up call: we are all impermanent, this is it, we need to make a difference now.
@dangillmor @stevesilberman Everything's going to pass, whether you consider it good or bad. It almost makes you feel like if fighting for a cause is wasting energy in vain...
