Anyone have any recommendation for ear plugs for concerts? I have small ears and use EarPeace petite but looks like they no longer sell them. Open to custom options if they will fit.
@Jacobid Customs are incredible. And they fit bc they are custom. But they are $200+. For $40 Earasures get you 90% of the way there.

@AG3rD @chopaganda @Jacobid I second Loops. Especially the Loop Switch where you can change the levels.

(I do not however recommend the Loop Link, as I’ve lost two pairs while using it)

@chopaganda Any recommendation on where to get customs?
@Jacobid Check Etymotic and ACS’s website. I have ACS plugs and Etymotic filters. Don’t recall the audiologist I went to.
@chopaganda Appreciate the help! Recently got tested at an audiologist and have significant hearing loss in one ear. Been wearing plugs for around five years now and trying to preserve what I have left.
@Jacobid @chopaganda I use Westone musician’s plugs. They’ve got filters of 15 or 25 db. I had to see an audiologist for the fitting, but I love them. Filters out the bad shit and basically just turns the volume down. $250, but fully worth it.
@DaveG924 @Jacobid Pretty sure I use the 9db filters on mine. Just enough to keep my ears from feeling overloaded at the show so they don’t ring after.
@chopaganda @Jacobid depends on the situation. If it’s a professional crew like Phish the dbs seldom exceed 100 anyway, so the 15 is ideal. When I’m playing guitar with friends in a small room or seeing a band that can’t afford to tour with a proper sound guy, I’ll want the 25. Either way, my ears say thank you.
@Jacobid I’ve been using Etynomics for a bit, the ER20XS most recently. Cheap enough (~$20) losing them isn’t a big deal, helps a lot with loudness and chomping
