Today's historic #photo of the day: 33 years ago today, we see the unusual Dutch gabled style #railway station building at Quorn, SA, August 28 1991.
Quorn, near the Flinders Ranges in the mid north of South Australia, is a small town that holds a very special place in Australian railway history.
The railway first came to Quorn in 1879 when South Australian Railways' 1067mm narrow gauge line from Port Augusta reached town.
