But the difference between then and now is; Gold and silver was at least worth its value in time and weight… Considering it took millions of years for the Earth to make it, and 1000’s of man hours to retrieve it…. Now, they just run down to the BEP and print some numbers on a piece of papery linen, and call it money. Oddly enough, a paper plate holds more value in weight! Tax reform how?
