I hate to rain on everyone’s fun, but y’all need to tune in to @marcelias and his warnings that a Harris win may not be one. @Keitholbermann started re-sounding the alarm yesterday. Trump’s GOP is about to pivot from trying to win, to trying to force the election to Congress. And they can pull it off if they still control 26 state delegations (as they do now). The only way we can prevent it is to take at least one of those delegations away.

@shoq @marcelias I figured this would the case when tRump stopped campaigning except for a few token appearances. He doesn't care one way or the other because the plan is to steal the election. A very large cadre of lawyers, including Marc Elias, have been working on the problem for several years now: https://www.democracydocket.com/author/marc_elias/

I'm not saying that the problem is totally resolved, just that the legal beagles are aware of it and started working on it after Jan 6.

@shoq @marcelias would that be decided by the current congress, that we can't change, or a new one? I've never grokked that part.
@lakelady @shoq @marcelias
The new Congress is sworn in on January 3, 2025.
@shoq @marcelias This concept is frightening. The population is now fired up for Kamala and Tim.
If Trump wants to incite a civil war, it won’t be his MAGAts in pickup trucks that would start it. But forcing the election to Congress would result in something that We The People might not tolerate.
They couldn’t take over the government by attacking Congress from the outside and now we’re not going to let them take over the government from inside Congress either.
We’re Not Going Back!
@shoq @marcelias we have to win so big they wouldn't DARE
@shoq @marcelias
They're clearly planning to take power in some way that's not "winning" (and they'll have backup plans).
