As an Australian who's not following USA politics closely, what's all the blue stuff under the TV screen?
(I've looked at the Alt-Text for a few versions of this pic, and I just don't understand what the blue stuff is)

I found this pic, which shows that the blue is the stairs leading up to the stage.
I can now sleep at night 🤪
