Aroop Roelofs@username To be fair, you can make good designs all you want but it's more often than not the implementation that sucks.
Think overly bloated JS frameworks, shitty compression, 1337666 different requests (instead of bundling to have just a few requests) etc.
These are generally not decisions made by the designers but the developers.
