I swear to god devs don't read documentation. Devs don't even look for the documentation.

Got asked for a cert file after sending the documentation, the cert file link was in the documentation.

Devs do us a favor, don't just focus on learning how to code, learn how computers and the environment you operate inside of works, and also how to read through documentation. Majority of my tickets from devs are simply sending documentation.

And now the dev is showing a serious lack of cryptographic understanding and why we won't allow older weak protocols rather than they update their config.

The facepalm I had when they asked if SHA-1 can be allowed in the encryption algorithms to be accessed... That's not an encryption method. That's a hash. Further reenforcing my OP that devs need to learn more than how to code and understand the systems and environment they are working on.
