Mindfulness is about being miserable in the present instead of being miserable in the past or the future.

@zoomar this reminds me of a conversation with a friend where she said "this task is so miserable but I am trying to live in the moment" and I was like "living in the moment is for the fun moments! 'this too shall pass' is for the miserable moments!" and she actually thought this was a revelation

@zoomar Mindfulness is is about just being without judging yourself whether you are "miserable" or not.

You focus on the task at hand and do not ruminate about how you assess your current situation.
