It's 209 minutes to bed time, we got a full box of eclairs, half a case of soda, its dark out and we're watching Blues Brothers.

It's a film I thought I'd seen before. But no! And I really enjoyed it. Got a lot of references now I'm older.

My daughter (12) REALLY liked it, for the cartoon comedy madness. Which I think is kinda like YouTube videos, I wonder if that style has come full circle.

We've been doing more older films, and while they can be slower, some are pure gems.

@doctormo #BluesBrothers was our family film too. We even watched #BluesBrothers2000 now and then. For marathon we did one episode of #TheWire after dinner every day.

@doctormo I never get tired of all of the police cars crashing. The first time I saw it as a kid, I was 🤯

But, also, the kind of jump scare when all of the guns get drawn in them on the courthouse.
