On the occasion of the 100th anniversary we are pleased to show the film "Solidarität verbindet - 100 Jahre Rote Hilfe" (110min, OV).
The film is dedicated to the past and present of solidarity work.
Beginning with Germany's Rote Hilfe in the Weimar Republic and in illegality during Nazi fascism, the film covers the re-establishment of Rote Hilfe structures in the early 1970s through to today's Rote Hilfe e. V.
Exemplary cases of repression show fields of action from these phases and approach the topic from different perspectives: In interviews, left-wing activists from various movements who were accused or imprisoned and received solidarity support have their say, as do Rote Hilfe members who accompanied the trials and organised campaigns.
Afterwards there will be the usual relaxed exchange, delicious snacks & cold drinks!
