We went to the vet today
It's time to say goodbye to our eldest cat (18 years)
Heartbroken at our duty to give her peace
We're sobbing and laughing, remembering and celebrating her life

She's a good cat, and the grumpiest princess the world has ever beheld

Sorry. We had to say goodbye to our dog about 10 years ago. I don't often think about that day. Loss is like that in my experience....you can go right back to that feeling years and years later. Take care of yourself.
