The way these businesses have been getting away with robbing customers who no longer want their services is criminal. Tantamount to robbery.

I am glad President Biden is doing something about it. Long overdue.

The American people are tired of corporations screwing us over.

@TonyStark This is really important. I got a notice a few months ago about a security breach, with some "free" credit monitoring offered. I aborted signing up because the "terms of service" said I'd have to call to cancel. Some 300,000 people were impacted. I figured I'd be on hold for the rest of my life trying to cancel if I had completed it.

@bzdev This sort of thing has happened to me and I consider myself a fairly savvy consumer.

People are tired of being ripped off by companies spending more time trying to figure out ways to squeeze regular people instead of trying to improve actual service. Fraud sucks.
