Spotify inked a new partnership with Joe Rogan, under which "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast will now be available on other audio platforms.

I use Spotify without subscription, with adblocker.

What blocker do you use?

On desktop, ublock origin

On android, ad-silence by BluePie. Available on F-Droid

Or on Android change DNS to something like

p2.freedns.controld.com

Is ad-silence better then blokada 5?

Spotify is still getting useful data from you though aren’t they?

I mean their recommendation algorithm is good. And the adblock is more about not feeling annoyed by ads and less about privacy.

Today I learned that unlock Origin has a desktop wide version. I might as well start using it.

Here’s hoping there’s a Linux version once I finally take that leap. I’m getting sick of Windows (but unfortunately I still rely on it).

On mobile I use xmanager patched Spotify app.

Only thing it can’t do is download and show lyrics
