Sitting in the evening sun in my new garden chair munching a snack from Tesco is bliss after 10 hours of #GardenClearance.

The new chair has a recline mode.

The church bell dingly-donglers in the distance are faintly dingly-dongling. F—E—D—C F—E—D—C F—E—D—C

Give them a couple of centuries's more practice and maybe they'll get on to a 2nd tune. (-:

I think that that's the sound of my neighbour putting xyr bins out.

Wait! Is it bin day tomorrow?

#campanology

I trust my neighbour. So up out of recline mode. Complete half-written FediVerse post. Post it. Put bins out. Change battery on kitchen clock. Put 'phone back on charge.

And now it is too dark to go back out to sit in the chair.

But it was a pleasant little interlude. With zero bloody piles of rotten wood.

I think that the dingly-donglers are actually playing A—G—F—E—D—C, but they are quite faint and rushing the first two. There are better acoustics near to the bins. (-:
