Instead, the UCP have given a Dr's group $85K to develop a business plan resulting in a new clinic, or HC “Campus” which includes a walk-in clinic for the general public and a clinic with all the bells and whistles, nurses, NPs, midwives, etc, NOT FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC. The further privatization of healthcare in Canada is not only shamefully transgressing the rights of Canadians as outlined in the Canada Health Act, it is outright STEALING the investment made by generations of Canadians whose taxes have paid into building the public healthcare system over the course of their lifetimes.

Alberta seniors, who are being robbed of the most wealth by the UCP in THIS particular case, should demand the province reimuburse them down to the penny for that theft of their investment.
