Today, on the last day of an 8,200 nautical mile journey, I had to load an app onto my phone, give an unknown company a credit card number, and authorize a $10 charge when I only needed $7 just to do two loads of laundry.

The last time I was forced to do this on a trip, I tried to get the balance back and when they refused, I complained to the App Store and I got all of my money back. Free laundry. It looks like I'll be doing that again today. #boating #BoatLife #ripoffs
