Let’s talk about the Walter Isaacson book. For those of you unaware, he wrote a biography about Elon in which I am featured. This is what I have to say on the matter. It’s a bit heavy, so bear with me.

How does this affect your relationship with Walter Isaacson?
It’s not a plus but we have differed on this issue for a while now
Like, I have so many questions for you, @karaswisher but mostly (and not to make this extraordinary post—easily one of the greatest I've ever read— about you), but how do you carry yourself when you're THIS right THIS often about THESE people? You didn't just nail this particular issue around Isaacson's book. You broke the hammer.
I read the book then listened to Kara’s interview. Pretty clear she’s on the right side of this. The book was exactly what Vivian said: a glorified puff piece.

In the interview with Kara, Isaacson repeatedly hid behind a weak and sad “that wasn’t my role as biographer” defense.

@walter_isaacson, it is the very definition of your job to interview Vivian. As a fan of some of his previous work, it’s truly disappointing.
