First all positions are assigned a number.
1- Pitcher
2- Catcher
3 - First baseman
4 - 2nd baseman
5- 3rd Baseman
6- Shortstop
7- Left Field
8- Center Field
9- Right Field
DH- designated hitter

6-4, 5-4, 4-6, or 3-6 means a baserunner is thrown out at 2nd base.
