Ellawent 3-0 with this rabbits deck at a #Bloomburrow draft with some friends tonight! (notably this was a 4-pack draft because the box comes with enough packs for it). thoughts on some standout cards in 🧵:
Harvestrite Host was a lot more consistent then I expected. there's a lot of single cards that can create two rabbits for it, between cards with Offspring, Hop to It, and playing and sacrificing a Carrot Cake on the same turn.
Warren Warleader is as bomb of a mythic as it looks (though obviously you can't plan for that in a draft; was my pack 1 pick 1).
Repel Calamity really helped against Lizards, which I found to be the toughest matchup in this draft. so many of their creatures hit that 4 power threshold if they're doing it right.
(mostly this matchup actually came down to who was on the play for the aggro beatdown)
in the same removal bucket, Banishing Light still has it. Solar Strike is tight too; "or tapped" puts it a cut above the usual attacking or blocking condition.
final one, Lupinflower Village often annoyed me when it was my only white source and I wanted to play a Carrot Cake or removal spell. but it also digs pretty deep - feels very good when it picks up a bomb like Warren Warleader to push you over the edge.
David Zaslavsky@ectcetera Congrats! Thanks for the notes. I had mostly similar impressions from my first Arena draft but had some different cards; I haven't gotten to play with Repel Calamity or Harvestrite Host yet.
