This is a pretty easy pattern over all, but the instructions leave a lot to be desired
Ben A L Jemmett@MLE_online Now I am no dressmaker by any stretch of the imagination - I am vaguely aware it involves thread and pokey things - but it seems to me that you might have missed a step around the whole 'straps' sorta area. It looks like it will make a fine dress once it stays up, though!

(I really need to pop into the haberdashery in town sometime and see about finding some nice straightforward patterns. Every time you post about sewing something new it looks a fun and rewarding way to spend some time.)
@baljemmett is wearing something that you made yourself and looking/feeling good in it is one of the most satisfying things. And homemade clothes inevitably get compliments because they look different than stuff that is sold in stores, so you always end up with a nice opportunity to tell someone, I made it myself!
