A candidate should aim to help improve the lives of those they're willing to serve. It's not about self-interest, and it never should be. As of right now, the Kamala-Walz ticket has advocated towards improving the lives of their constituents. All Trump cares about is himself and winning so that he gets a "Get out of jail free," card.
A Kamala-Walz ticket has already committed to capping rent hikes, defending reproductive freedom, bringing down prescription drug costs, investing in infrastructure, expanding medicare, providing gun safety reform, and tackling the climate crisis.
