Jokes on you, my ball of fluff died of old age shortly after my first kid was born and the Satan cat became her little guardian fallen angel. He takes hugs, grabs, pinches, everything from both my kids now (but still won’t let me do it) and generally stays in the same room as them when given the option.

Not sure if that worked, but our tuxedo Ponj was a lovable nimrod and our orange guy Ozu wrecked things and hated everyone except family. Pulled up an old photo with both, especially cause my wife insists no baby photos on the interwebs! (Which is a shame cause with baby the cutemess is amplified ten-fold).
