@gregggonsalves Where is this? Will be in NYC tomorrow and would love to see it!

Looks like St. Patricks Cathedral 🤔

@JaneinNJ @gregggonsalves

@JaneinNJ 5th Avenue at 49th Street, in front of the Michael Kors store, 7 blocks from Trump Tower. Drop in on your way to NikeTown
@guacamayan LOL…have never been to Niketown and am not starting now! And I certainly don’t make detours to *rump Tower! Tomorrow my beloved and I are seeing #ArmyofShadows at #FilmForum and taking our son out to lunch for his bday. West Village all day. Hopefully this sign will still be up next time I go to #MOMA, which is what usually draws me over that way.
@guacamayan When you brag to all your #mastodon buddies about the fun day you have planned, then you wake up and have a stomach bug and are instead spending the day in bed…

@JaneinNJ @gregggonsalves

That's 5th ave near 57th street I think?

@gregggonsalves I love the photo too. Captures his full charm.
@RIJim @gregggonsalves reminds me of that miserable Elder from Happy Feet

@gregggonsalves

Vance's beard has a bald spot.

@gregggonsalves They need to do this in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, etc.
@gregggonsalves the fading eyeliner tattoo is just… weird.
@gregggonsalves Wow. And project 2025 is The Handmaid's Tale irl imo. Blessed be.

@gregggonsalves Bit of a waste of money: New York hasn't gone to the Republicans since 1984, sentiment there is universally against them, and that has to be one of the most expensive advertising spots in the whole world.

Of course, I appreciate the sentiment, but the focus must be on the swing states, not the safe states.

@gregggonsalves ...it's JD Vance! </saturday night live>
@gregggonsalves Late night news: Usha Vance explains, "My sweet husband would never mean that the bodies of married women who are subject to their husbands are his choice. He is only speaking, once again, about those women who choose cats over children."
@gregggonsalves @StillIRise1963 Nothing new. I remember a conservative who described himself as “pro-choice”. He described exactly as that he gets to choose what happens to a pregnancy.

@gregggonsalves come on y'all, this isn't real - it's the height of summer but look at the trees in the background, it's been gross hot and humid here but look at what people are wearing, please put on your critical thinking caps

edit; it's still funny as shit, it's just not actually real

@gregggonsalves that picture makes him look like he'll call the bar next Tuesday and say "I was in there last Friday, can you see if I left my credit card?"
@gregggonsalves my body my choice is a strawman argument. if fetus is part of woman body then abortion isn't bigger deal than a haircut. if it's a separate human then it doesn't matter if she was raped by her own dad - killing another person is not a solution. but neither side will discuss the question they really disagree on. one cause it would become obvious their position is arbitrary and stupid. other cause then their argument is "x are not people so we can do y to them". can't we do better?

Weirdos. How weird can they get? Anyone wants to find out by voting for them? Being painted with the same brush comes to mind.

@gregggonsalves He does look like an uneducated doofus.
@gregggonsalves
He just LOOKS like the kind of guy you can't leave alone with children.
