@Basmitharts melania posted an IG of Trump driving in a Rolls Royce before he ran for president. It’s a weird video. I seem to recall they were listening to taylor swift. I believe he’s not allowed to drive again after being elected.
Dexter@Mark @Basmitharts Yup. If you're ever elected President, you lose the privilege of driving on public roads. They consider it too much of a security risk. I'm not sure if that extends to VP as well.

@wheeljack @Mark @Basmitharts I could talk for hours about the logistics of presidential travel. A very close family member used to do that, and it is fascinating. But essentially yes. Either somebody from the team assigned to the site (each site the President steps in outside the WH or the Capitol has a dedicated team that prepares ahead and wraps up after) or somebody from the motorcade team will pay.
