warthog9Credit where it's due, the @RaspberryPi folks have proper thermal shutdowns built into the 3b+ and 4 it looks like.
Ok soooooo I need bigger heatsinks and some vents to be added to this box outside the my house on a South facing wall.
Graham McIntire@warthog9 I presume those are in C? I have a pi2 in a sealed enclosure on my dark asphalt shingle roof in North Texas and the CPU was only at 65c yesterday when I checked, though it's sure not happy about it
@kivrak yup, C. South side of the house, partially obscured by a solar panel and there's a lot in the box so the temps aren't entire unexpected
