@ErikUden problem is that China doesn't play the game fair. It's not capitalism in their case. they might call it so, but it isn't.
Simply put: if the goal is to make money, they would invest more in local markets and not overproduce when there are no local users. (eg constructing a road to nowhere)
Their goal is state power. So they play the game with cheat codes: the vast pockets of the Government who can also control the labour force. (eg it's forbidden to strike in China)
