I apologise if my opinion here (this ceremony being ‘disgusting’) came across as me finding it to be fact, because I didn’t. My opinion here is one I consider sensible, and as such would find anyone disagreeing insane.

Mostly the costumes.
Ok, and to clarify, do you mean disgusting as in the opposite of attractive, or that you feel an internal wrongness when looking? I’m guessing it’s something way beyond either, otherwise it wouldn’t make sense to find others “insane” for liking the performance.
My opinion is that the only ones insane are those with nothing better to do than complain about an art piece.
