@lexi Agreed, people always juge me for running an "unstable" distro (Arch), to wich I respond: "that's how you learn and it's pretty fun to fix it up"

Maybe try something stupid like changing a critical component of your install, like init system or even c lib !

I switched the init system on my daily driver, it was somewhat straight forward, downgrading from runit to systemD :3

Changing clib is something I wanna do, but I need to find an arch based distro that uses another clib (so I can borrow the repos) or maintain my own repos which uhh no thank you~

@0x4c756e61 one thing i do want to try is making a wine prefix that can run steam games fine so i can launch rtc as well and have the game's process in process stub
though last time i tried that, it said access denied to hooking the process because wine runs everything as if it was running as admin on windows, so i need to figure that out

@0x4c756e61 rtc runs badly in proton and its missing some dependencies
i guess i could try making a proton prefix to launch things under for rtc
