★metal★matt★Question about Messages in iCloud on Mac. I need to clear up space on my MB Air and messages is using like 40GB. I WANT TO KEEP messages in iCloud, I have plenty of space there with the Cadillac plan. I just want to clear up space on my Mac. Most of the support threads I can find for this are related to clearing up iCloud space, but I just want to clear up space on a single computer.
I turned off iCloud messages on the Mac and then deleted a bunch of old ones, but that's stupid and gross. Anyone know if I set "keep messages" to 30 days or 1 year is that only for the one Mac, or for ALL devices?
Not to mention now I’m terrified that the messages I deleted on the Mac are going to start disappearing from other devices 😰
