Media not doing their job - another example.

This time the Washington Post: "Antarctic temperatures soar 50 degrees above norm in long-lasting heat wave" (note it's currently winter down there) - with extensive, detailed scientific reasons.

But once more: The article does NOT use, as so many others, the words:
👉 carbon
👉 CO2
👉 emissions
👉 fossil

It speaks about "in a warming world", carefully skirting around the reasons, as if it somehow were a natural thing.

Antarctic temperatures soar 50 degrees above norm in long-lasting heat wave

This historic warm spell in East Antarctica is an ominous example of the temperature spikes this polar climate could experience more of in a warming world.

The Washington Post

A new article at the Washington Post. "Death Valley just recorded the hottest month ever observed on the planet. July was also the hottest month on record for dozens of other cities"

This one at least has one sentence: "Scientists say the warmth is linked to decades of global heating from human emissions of greenhouse gases."

But:
* "scientists say" ... rather than "science has established"
* "warmth" ... rather than "heating"
* "linked to" ... rather than "caused by"

Death Valley just recorded the hottest month ever observed on the planet

July was also the hottest month on record for dozens of other cities in the western United States, including Sacramento, Las Vegas and Portland, Ore.

@W_Lucht
I'm glad to see you and hopefully other folks calling out the big corp media.

Words matter.
