I’m looking for a simple analytics system for my personal websites. I don’t care about monetization and don’t care much about the numbers - I'm just curious which of my sites and pages are drawing traffic.

I don’t want a privacy-invasion ad-oriented nightmare like Google Analytics (which I turned off years ago) and need something that goes beyond Wordpress (so not Jetpack).

It looks like Simple Analytics is recommended by some. Is it any good? What’s the “ProtonMail” of #Analytics?

#PiwikPro is one of the privacy-centric tools, battery included, and a quite generous free plan. It's not only analytics but also tag manager and consent manager. It's quite easy to configure.

There are also tools like Plausible Analytics and Fathom Analytics, but I haven't tested them.
