@johnbrayton I haven't tried it before, and gave it a go now. And I like it!
But (and I don't like to be that guy), I feel like you've priced yourself way too high. đ
I'm absolutely not one of those who thinks anything over $0 is too much - but one year of Unread is literally three times lifetime unlocks of Reeder or Lire.
I've bought both of those apps, and was prepared to pay something similar now (even as a sub) - but sadly it's too rich for me, next to a Feedbin sub.
@johnbrayton Yeah - and I get that pricing is super-hard! Youâll always get a bunch of people complaining no matter where you put it. (Why should developers eat food, amirite?)
And then you have people like me: I have a âproblemâ where I love spending a little money on a bunch of apps. And I was super-ready to âwasteâ a bit more on your app đ - but it was more than I thought, heh, and Iâve already spent a bunch on RSS readers.

But I can absolutely see the sense in going for something like six times the price of the competitors, and settle for having to capture one sixth the amount of customers. (While having a free tier thatâs almost _too_ generous!)
Iâm not claiming Iâm the majority - but if the app had the same pricing as something like Callsheet (https://apps.apple.com/no/app/callsheet-find-cast-crew/id1672356376?l=nb), I probably wouldâve subbed without thinking about it. đâŠ

âHave you ever wondered âwho is that actor?â, or perhaps âwhen was this movie released?â, or âwhat was the title of that one episode of that show I loveâ? Maybe you're a film aficionado, and wonder âhow old was this person when this movie was releasedâ? Have you wanted to answer those questions *witâŠ
