Tonight's meal! #Irishvacation
And heres the food porn! #IrishVacation
#IrishVacation Dinner that night came with a show: An irish band playing classic irish folk music and dancing from the country's past.
#IrishVacation we weren't supposed to take videos but I couldn't help but take this short one... the dancing was pretty cool is all!
#IrishVacation we found a snail yesterday!
We also went to a local beach. A lotta fun scenery and interesting plantlife I've never seen before! #IrishVacation
#IrishVacation And More!
#IrishVacation Lunch yesterday was at the Temple Bar, a tourist hotspot in Dublin with fun scenery.
#IrishVacation and Alpacas apparently!
#IrishVacation Anything you've heard about Ireland and Guiness, apparently its true. Lotta propaganda for the drink around! Here are some of my favorites.
#IrishVacation Submitted without comment beyond this one... is this an example of a "Fruit-ie"?
According to our tour guide Ireland was one of the first countries to legalize same-sex marriages by popular vote, and this gay bar, the George, made out of an old church, was one of the gay bars open well before it was legalized! #IrishVacation #BeGayDoCrimes
#IrishVacation The castle of Dublin from outside. Part of this is original archetecture from viking times, part has been modernized for living space!
#IrishVacation and here's some courtyard shots of the Castle of Dublin!
#IrishVacations Here, have some landmarks!
#IrishVacation Trinity College. Another famous landmark in Dublin! Love the stonework!
More of these #IrishVacation pics! Here's some general landmarks and fun things from Dublin!
#IrishVacation This is a Portal, built in Dublin, that broadcasts events happening in Dublin to a sister portal in New York, and vice versa. At least it does when it's on! I think it's a pretty neat idea!
#IrishVacation We went on a Donut Tour of Dublin. It let us learn a bit about the city's history, the Irish revolt, and about the history of donuts in the area.
#IrishVacation I'm choosing to believe irish furries who are also street punks made this.

After Dublin, our orignal plan was to head over to Galway.

That... uh, didn't happen.

We ended up heading in the wrong direction and ended up seeing a lot more of the less tourist-friendly parts of Ireland on our #IrishVacation

In related news I have now toted a goat.

We also almost died!

We ended up staying on an Irish sheep farm near Waterville for a few days instead of doing Galway.

An unexpected twist on our #IrishVacation, but we made the most of it! Got to see a lot of stuff many tourists never get to, like sheep being herded by sheep dogs, and a few authentic irish pubs.

#IrishVacation here, have some pictures of the sheep farm we stayed at!

It was cozy and inviting, a former home for a family of 9 sons and 2 parents, and the place was full of hills and secrets to explore.

#IrishVacation some pretty great views too, over in Waterville! :3
More of the Waterville landscapes on my #IrishVacation. It's fun to me how the landscape and flora feel so familiar yet just different enough from around the area of the US I'm in. It stands out!

#IrishVacation We went down to Waterville (the town) to find places to eat and things to do. There were some cool sights!

Like how they turned an old phone booth into a defibrulator!

#IrishVacation Waterville, part 2. Did you know Charlie Chaplin used to vacation here? I did not!

We ate at this restaurant in Waterville for brunch.

I tried both Black and White Pudding and was left with nothing but regrets. T.T

People, in the hustle and bustle of the modern age, we must still remember what's truly important.

Yes, we must never forget to take responsibility.

Please, I implore you: never forget to put your Fox in the Box.

I, uh, may've bought a whole set of these in Waterville.

I couldn't help it! They were so pretty and I loved the colors!

@TerinasTiger Not sure if this is art from one of their albums, but it looks like something they'd have as album art. What a random thing to see, though!
@JD86 art from whose albums?
@TerinasTiger Queens of the Stone Age. They're a kind of hard rock/ almost metal band and one of my personal favorites~ They're from SoCal, though, which is why I think it's pretty random that you saw this in Ireland 😋
@JD86 oooh, cool! Thank you!
@TerinasTiger omg Irish animal art crimes
