Anti-communist propaganda accidentally tells the truth about communism?

@Radical_EgoCom my east east european friends' parents have quite the stories. But much of the living conditions went down in many places as well. Look at Maldova for example.

People miss parts of communism, they would miss parts of capitalism. I think socialism would be the only option πŸ’š

@maruverse

I'm not sure what you mean by "people miss parts of communism" and "socialism would be the only option " when socialism is what people had before in countries like Maldova. Are you referring to a particular version of socialism?

@maruverse @Radical_EgoCom living conditions in moldova wen't down due to extreme mismanagement and the after effects of colonialism. they were barely a province before so no one there had any idea how to run a country. takes generations of old people nostalgia to go away before you can move past that.

@karlcx @Radical_EgoCom yea the corrupt politicians that left with the treasury also didnt help. But the place is extremely run down, and used vo be quite astonishing.

When the visuals crumble (fountains, pt, streets, roads) it's confronting. People who will remember before and after will be nostalgic and I can't blame them

@maruverse @Radical_EgoCom let's hope it continues to improve, and they're able to move further toward EU membership, get corruption under control etc.
