Trump wants to undermine the US's vaccination programs. As a professional epidemiologist, I can tell you what will happen if we do that. It doesn't take a lot of imagination. The curve at right is child mortality in the US over the past 200+ years. Much of the decline you see is due to vaccination.

@ct_bergstrom , around 1982, I heard Ray Bradbury speak at San Francisco State University. He started out saying he'd been bemused at being handed an odd speech title: "Why I'm an Optimist". However, on contemplation, he'd thought of something illustrating an improvement that really mattered:
