Tapestry Backers: New build in TestFlight with a lot of timeline and visual improvements.

But for me the big thing is that you can now add your own connectors: there's now a TestFlight beta for Tapestry Loom that lets you add custom feeds and content to the app.

@chockenberry Already love the app so much. Will the Tapestry Loom stay macOS only? :)
@dieterpilger As long as SwiftUI is Apple only. All the code is shared on iOS and macOS.
@chockenberry just wondered if there would be a chance to create new connectors directly on iOS/iPadOS 😊

@dieterpilger In theory, it's possible. But you'd need to use split screen on iPadOS (to edit text) and that leaves very little room for the Tapestry Loom interface.

It's sort of the same problem that Xcode would have on an iPad. Big and wide screens solve a lot of interaction problems.

@chockenberry Ah okay. That makes sense. And not sure how many people would actually want to do it on those devices anyways. Thanks nevertheless and for answering 😊 Not owning a current Mac atm 😊 Just thought it might make creating connectors a bit more accessible to the average user. Even though you canβ€˜t compare the two, I think Shortcuts benefited a lot from the on-device creation and how people are able to share those that easily.
