I'm at @xHain_hackspace

had my UDP script on the raspberry that did send videos to itself on the club matrix. finally managed to grab the scripts, so I can send stuff to my dodecahedron as well. just need to map things I guess. The colors look awful though.

if only that one display wouldnt look completely different arg. wonder if its worth the hassle to have two luts.
@davedarko Do the Colourcorrection they did for the #CCCamp23 #blinkenlight

@Tig3rch3n was thinking of that, since I watched the talk that Tim gave at the camp. I though I might be able to google something generic like a lut or hue correction, but no luck so far.

gamma correction is one magic word

@davedarko @Tig3rch3n DisplayCal works really quite well for LEDs :)
@manawyrm @Tig3rch3n so I still need a mcguffin I guess? I was hoping to do some generic stuff first. I hope theres a gamma correction setting in ffmpg, will check it out after lunch.

@davedarko @Tig3rch3n yes, but the super old (like Windows XP ones) work fine with the linux tool and you can get them second hand quite cheaply on Kleinanzeigen/ebay/etc.

LEDs aren't really linear at all and this _really_ improves the color reproduction by a ton.
