Things I remember being luxuries when I was a child that we don't even think about today.

@twipped I spent the night at a friend's just so we could play on his Atari 2600. It turned into an epic game of Yar's Revenge where we saw the end boss, beat it, and kept going until the score rolled over to zero.
@twipped for me it was a dishwasher. in ny only rich houses have dishwashers. when my mom got a promotion we moved into an apartment with a dishwasher. now i dont even think about having one anymore; i think it is a commodity
