@PetterOfCats @dangillmor he did that last time when china banned bitcoin and gave him a free factory. They 100% got him to crash bitcoin after he said Tesla would take it. China was about to press Tesla about fires in cars and then it all went away.

@dangillmor It's not at all clear he's reneging, though he probably likes that he managed to get headlines saying that. He said he was never giving $45m/mo to Trump (no one thought he was, since he couldn't give that much to the campaign). But then he explains he's giving to a super PAC that supports Trump, and he doesn't say how much he's giving.
