Yesterday was Mr. Boots & my wedding anniversary.
After we heard the news yesterday, I got hammered*, we made a huge pan of nachos, & then, we looged off social media & news & spent the rest of the day watching awful disaster movies. It was AWESOME.
& now I'm ready. I'll go HARD for #Harris & whomever she chooses as her VP. I trust her. She knows how many lives are at stake.
I will be fearless. & if you can't be right now, I understand, & I'll be fearless for you, too.
@BootsChantilly love it! let's do this. I sent an "I'm with her" meme to a family chat group and was called an idiot by my sister. I'm not hurt by the insult - I have thicker skin than that - but it breaks my heart to see what my idealistic, open-minded, empathetic, inclusive sister has become in her later years.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Let's make sure we defeat Orange Hitler at the ballot box and repudiate Project 2025 (Fascism for Dummies) once and for all. For our grandchildren.
