What's your favourite Godot tutorial Youtuber? - Lemmy.World

Hey, just wondering if anyone had any particular recommendations for specific channels they especially liked? I’ve recently been watching some Inkscape tutorials by the channel Logos by Nick and I really like his presentation style. Instead of going into detail about how to do something in particular he’ll just make something and on the way you’re introduced to multiple features and techniques you didn’t even know existed. Very useful especially if you aren’t familiar with the software at all ( me ) So if you know of anyone like that for Godot, or any channels that you particularly like, or any particular videos, please post them, I’d be interested in having a look.

The channel I used when starting out and that has some great tutorials is Heartbeast.

Another channel with some great content is Godotneers

Both of these channels are excellent! I’ve been following Heartbeast since his gamemaker days and he’s since been my favorite instructor, and godotneers has some great deep dives
I’ve been following heartbeast since his gamemaker days and always appreciated how he walks through and explains everything
Man, I had Heartbeast’s Zelda-like tutorial all done up in Godot 4, but there have been so many migratory changes that it doesn’t load in 4.3 any more. I wish I hadn’t taken such a long break from it.

Brackeys, now that he is back <3

It is in French but Baba Des Bois has a very interesting way of putting things and I learnt a lot following his videos.

They’ve only made like 4 videos, but Bitlytic absolutely exploded my brain with the way he organizes his objects and code.
