I have a lot of respect for Joe Biden regardless of his political policies because he's a man with a stutter who never let that stop him. Having said that, I'm glad he's taking this step because I think it's best for the country & for him. I hope people will give Kamala Harris an honest look. I know I will be over the next few weeks. Former President Trump is just too extreme to be in power again with plans like Project 2025 & massive replacements of federal civil servants.

@mcoley I'm definitely looking at her as someone viable potentially to win the race and perhaps even the election, but the thing is, she really needs to be more well-known and that might stop her a lot. I for one never really knew anything about Harris before now, and certainly not leading up to the election did I even put her on my radar as a potential candidate, but it would seem this would need to be the way forward if indeed the democrats want a win.

@mcoley Biggest problem I see is indeed there being not so much popularity for her leading in to November if she even gets the nomination, but if she does, here's hoping she can pleed her case well in the public eye. I do however see an uphil battle for the Dems against an organized Republican onslaught.
