@Pineywoozle @KimPerales I agree. Biden is very popular with the people who voted for him. Democratic politicians who deride him are not seeing the whole picture. I fear that their loud voices will drown out those of ordinary people. I will not forget what they and the media are trying to do. It will be hard to forgive.

I’ve also read the TLs of the people on here who say he should drop out and they were never going to vote for him anyway. @clumpytree No they don’t. The polls aren’t moving that much and the media is conflating polls that say voters want both candidates to be younger with polls that ask if they would vote for Biden if he was the nominee.

@HolgerFiallo She has not won the nomination yet. There will be a very public power struggle at the convention and it will be ugly. Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

@KimPerales I so agree with this. The Biden administration has accomplished so much. Watching these Chicken Littles trying to get Biden to throw in the towel is just making me sick. I’m just trying to find a Zen place to handle this because if Trump wins I’m going to have a hard time not blaming those guys.

The saddest aspect of the dump Biden movement is realizing that senior political leaders whom I respect have lost confidence in the American people. They seem to believe we are stupid enough to let Trump win because of some doubts about Joe Biden.

@chrisU Yes, over the last 8 years I’ve lost respect for people in my life, acquaintances, many politicians, & some who’ve become turncoats… I try to concentrate on the good people I know, those online that I learn from & occasionally interact, new friends from a Dem group I joined 6 years ago…
