Any sufficiently advanced "endpoint protection" software is indistinguishable from malware.

(Adding: Has the potential to cause global outages.)

@jschauma I have to disagree: malware usually provides excellent install scripts. You don’t even notice stuff getting installed.

Funny enough @jschauma, more recent version of Microsoft Windows be default also check most of the boxes, well except for the uninstall part perhaps.

@jschauma Exactly how I've always felt about anti-virus software, with "endpoint protection" software taking things to a new level.
