It’s actually pretty easy to make carbon neutral fireworks, since it’s only dependent on the energy put into the system and black powder historically used charcoal as it’s fuel source which is renewable.
But the carbon wouldn’t be in the air otherwise, so not good. Reduce, reuse, recycle.
