Yesterday I learned that trying to pin down even every grouping of potato dishes was nearly impossible. I had to leave off so many, that were kind of the same thing, but existed in different cultures. I have a pretty good handle on all kinds of potato dishes, and even still y'all showed me a couple things I've never seen.
So, I'm going to do a French Fry poll, yeah I'll probably miss some types, but I'm basically categorizing it as a potato cut up into batons, slices or wedges of some kind, and deep fried. I'm skipping anything finely diced or shredded, because it would just be too much.
